Nikon Cameras sponsors Coyote kill weeks in Upstate NY providing prizes for those culling the most songdogs....................This is truly an unsettling marketing effort from one of our largest camera firms.................They should hear from us that predator killing does not depress coyote populations over the long haul.............and in fact can grow those populations because of increased fertility by remaining animals................

Think about what the headline of the article below saids about humans tolerance for Bears.............."Hunting may be best way to ensure their future"..................Can you imagine if some other alien species was in control of this planet and they published this type article about humans: "HUNTING HUMANS MAY BE BEST WAY TO ENSURE THEIR FUTURE".............We would call these aliens barbaric and evil creatures for suggesting that killing us was the optimum way that we would persist...................I get hunting on some level.............but to rationalize that this is the best way for wolves, bears, cougars, coyotes and wolverines to stick around is by having hunting seasons for them suggests that we have to benefit economically(hunting fees) for another species to occupy this planet in peace---Sad, but historically true!

Our friends Joe Butera and Mollie Matteson sent me this disturbing OUTDOORS MAGAZINE article entitled: BEAT THE COLD;KILL A COYOTE.............The hunting and fishing magazines seem to feel that they have to preach "annihilation to their shrinking readership so as to keep them feeling macho and masculine..................Is that the message that is going to attract younger people to hunt?.................NO F---K--G WAY!(pardon my French on this ...........ticks me off..............I am in airports weekly around the USA and every single hunting mag preaches KILL COYOTES, BEARS, COUGARS, WOLVES.................The justification for this................"they are bloodthirsty predators"....................Well, Jeez, Louise,,,,,,,,,,,,,what does that make us then with our high powered weapons and killing equipment...............choir boys????????????????
