Thank you kindly for the plug. Love the blog, especially the added attention to the collapse of eastern forests, one of the great under-reported catastrophes facing the East Coast.
Why we need wolves and cougars back working their moose and white-tail shepherding magic, now. The East isn't too tamed, or too populated, for the rewilding of our big native predators. If cougars can thrive in the Bay Area and Front Range, and wolves can do it in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Romania's Carpathians, they can sure do it here.
