Biologist Jay Mallonee shared his "spot on" analysis of the flaws in the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Wolf population count..............Jay provides statistics on the minescule predation on sheep and cattle(about 0.06% of all sheep and cattle deaths last year in Montana).............Also clearly and objectively reinforced is the type information that Brooks Fahy and George Wuerthner publish about the adverse impact on both the wolves and the land that humans initiate when killing a highly social and trophic animal such as the wolf...............His basic conclusion is that "most wolf packs do not depredate livestock and that there is no substantiating evidence that Wolves decimate wild prey herds"...................."Instead of hunting Wolves Statewide, removing the problem animals locally would be the course of action to take based on best Science available"
