In Bulgaria, Finland and other European Countries that have a Wolf population that is rigoroulsy hunted by humans(15 to 50% of the population killed annually depending on the Country), high levels of inbreeding and hybridisation with other canid species occur............Many European and North American researchers are recognizing that unregulated hunting may compromise long-term viability of Wolf populations---Thank you George Wuerthner for this informative article which all of you can read by cllcking on the link below
