It is not just a move forward for wildlife empathy and protection in California where last week The state's Fish and Wildlife folks gave endangered species status to wolves(for when they begin recolonizing the state),,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Indeed, in neighboring Oregon where conflicts with the estimated recovering wolf population of about 60 has fallen off dramatically, kudos have to handed out to both the Ranchers and Wildlife folks there for the agreement that they brokered a year ago that calls for non lethal control methods to preemptively be utilized to keep wolves and livestock apart.................A Range Rider patrols the epicenter of Wolf activity in Wallowa County and Flagging and removal of cattle boneyards across many Ranches is now becoming the norm..............A thank you to our friend Amaroq Weiss for this fine Op Ed piece published in OREGON LIVE
