The Politics surrounding Wolf Management could be turned into a daytime soap opera................First the Feds control everywhere in America,,,,,,,,,,,Then delisting occurs in parts of the Northern Rockies,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Then there is all types of back and forth as Listed or delisted with delisting up until now the Northern Rocky paradigm(except in the Northwest where some counties are delisted, some are not)...............Then voters in Michigan stop the 2014 hunt until a vote is taken to determine future killing plan(or not hopefully),,,,,,,,,,,And over the last month, the Red Wolf Recovery Program in North Carolina is being re-evaluated and could be dismantled..............And today, Wyoming is stripped of its management of Wolves until they at least provide a Montana/Idaho killing paradigm that allows 15 breeding pairs and 150 animals alive annually.............Note that this capricious "15 pairs/150 wolf paradigm does not have "anchor" as a scientific long term persistent recovery number,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Instead, this is what the Feds thought they could get accomplished when Wolves were first being rewilded to the Greater Yellowstone and Idaho region back in the mid 1990's...............A lousy compromise forged with ranching and hunting interests, with the Wolves "not given a vote" in this determination.....................So now we will see how long it will take for Wyoming to agree to the 15 breeding pair/150 wolf number,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,All this going on while the USFW folks are considering stripping all wolves across the USA of Protection,,,,,,,,,,,,,even though there is viable Wolf habitat across New England, the Appalachian spine and the south which is yet to be repopulated with Wolves(whether they be Gray/Red/Mexican)..........................Whether it be Wolf restoration or international geopolitics,climate change mitigation, job creation, education excellence, health care, immigration et al.................We seem so out of control and unable to forge timely and appropriate rules and actions that reflect our standing as the Leader of the World...................LETS GO USA,,,,, WE ROOT FOR YOU TO ONCE AGAIN BE THE DECISIVE QUARTERBACK AND FRANCHISE # 4 HITTER IN THE LINEUP, reaching informed, educated and "feel right" decisions that the rest of the world will embrace to optimize life here on Planet Earth

Court reinstates endangered status for Wyoming wolves

ENDANGERED SPECIES — Federal protections for
 gray wolves in Wyoming were reinstated today after a judge invalidated the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s
 2012 statewide Endangered Species Act delisting of
the species, according to Earthjustice.

The ruling from the U.S. District Court halts the
management of wolves by Wyoming, a state with
a history of anti-wolf policies.
