Truly fine looking female Eastern Coyote found it's way into Manhattan Sunday morning and was corralled by Police, captured and then released into the woodlands of Ny's most northern Borough, The Bronx,,,,,,,,,,,where woodland exists and the Coyote can attempt to live on.................Even though Manhattan is an island, the Coyote once again showing that there is no boundary too big or too small to keep them from expanding their turf..............."If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere,,,,NY, NY, NY"---Frank Sinatra

Coyote caught in Manhattan

Cops in the badlands of Stuyvesant Town corralled this coyote early Sunday.
The seemingly healthy canid was first spotted sprinting past a guard shack at ConEd’s East 14th Street plant a little after 7 a.m., touching off a wild half-hour-long
chase.
ConEd security guards called cops, and when officers showed up, the coyote hightailed it into Stuy Town.
Police shot it with a tranquilizer dart and then snared it with a catch pole. It was put into an over-sized dog crate and safely hauled away.
Officers were equally amused and cautious of the animal – laughing and taking cell phone pictures of the tranquilized beast, but then nervously
jumping back if it made the slightest move forward.
