While this article centers around the destruction of forests in Africa and the resulting steep declines in wildlife that have occurred there, the suggestions put forth as it relates to limiting the size and number of roads and filling them in once they’re out of use can be applied to our forests here in North America---with resulting gains in fauna and flora diversity..........Eco tourism as an alternative and in addition to logging, another way of preserving the diversity of our forested lands...............Our National Park System as an example of that alternative that has been replicated successfully in whatever Country that has gone this route---# Logging and wildlife, # Ecotorurism
