A Pennsylvania Deer Hunter comments in this NY Times "Opinion Piece" about having a "deer hunter" moment(see the theatrical film to understand where I come from on this) this past Fall, alone in the woods with a Doe in his sights----He asks the questions: When do you kill, what do you kill---Do you kill at all?.........Interesting read and perspective as you read through..............Many of us who read this blog would say NO to all hunting of Carnivores as they are key top down trophic regulators of natural systems,,,,,,,,,,They self regulate their population based on prey populations and spacial requirements,,,,,,,,,,,,,,We do not need to eat their meat or wear their hides to live well and prosper..............Outside of taking a "trophy", why kill them?
