Known as P23(Puma 23), this "cat" was killed crossing
Malibu Canyon(Las Virgenes Road) between
Calabasas and Malibu this past Feb 2018

Malibu Creek running through Calabasas into Malibu is an optimum
hunting grounds for area Pumas--Deer quenching their thirst
have to be highly vigilant to the ambush of the Puma

P23 crossing Malibu Canyon(Las Virgenes Road) prior to being
killed by a car

The view from Calabasas toward Malibu and the Pacific Ocean,
rugged and perfect terrain for Pumas

In green backdrop, protected open space running from Topanga
Canyon on west and north thru Calabasas, Westlake Village, Thousand
Oaks, Newbury Park across to Malibu and on up thru Santa Barbara
