A Hibernating Black Bear does  not lose muscle tone over
its Winter sleep---Fascinating, as we humans wither
if in a hospital laid up for a couple of weeks







A Black Bear wakes from hibernation and can go "full tilt", none
the worse for having been semi-comatose for months.....Not
the case with us human animals
