Time Magazine recently did a cover story on whether animals feel, think, problem solve and use tools to accomplish tasks. Mammals weigh in strongly with all of these categories and Crows, Ravens and some birds have also been found to use tools to their advantage in obtaining food. I go back to the "family values" theme that runs through so many of our Politicians and Clergy's call to arms.......................
If in fact human life is sacred, is not as Thomas Jefferson so ably put it in our Declaration of Independence.................that "ALL MEN(ALL ANIMALS) HAVE THE RIGHT TO LIFE, LIBERTY AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS"?????????????????????
All you have to do is look at your own cat and dog to know that all creatures seek and deserve to have those INALIENABLE RIGHTS...............Speaks to the heart of rewilding The Americas with all of the creatures we found present here upon our forefathers setting foot on this great Continent.
