Our friend Brian Brady who owns property in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan caught these Wolves(C.lupus(x)lycaon--Our Eastern Wolves--on his trailcam.............Minnesota, Michigan and Wisconsin are home to the Wolf ...............Will Ohio, Pennsylvania and New England during our lifetime......once again like in Colonial times harbor two species of Canids(lycaon Eastern Wolf and latrans Eastern Coyote)? As we have discussed on this blog quite often, in Colonial times it is likely that both the gray wolf(C.Lupus) and the Eastern Wolf(C.Lupus lycaon) were on the scene in the Northeast with the gray wolf likely the Elk, Moose, beaver and Buffalo eaters.... and the Eastern Wolf the deer eaters
