A teriffic story from the COYOTE YIPPS blogsite describing how a Ranching family in California finds it quite easy to coexist with the Coyote family unit that shares the surrounding habitat.........I have read of the same tolerance exhibited by Vermont farmers.............Both of these rural dwellers have come to know that it is best to share their land with resident Coyote family units rather than killing them off.............The resident Coyotes come to understand the ways of the human dwellers and get into least trouble with them whereas when they are killed off by humans, the new Coyote arrivals from far and wide tend to be younger and more inexperienced, taking chances around human dwellings that lead to conflict.............
